After enjoying the beauty of nature, there are many attractions within an hour drive to enjoy.  These attractions include Guthrie Center's nine-hole golf course and Lake Panorama National 18-hole golf course,

Antiques are readily available at the Casey Antique Mall, Walnut Antique City, Valley Junction West Des Moines plus other shops in Des Moines.

There are many lakes to enjoy as well including Lake Panorama and Springbrook State Park.  Canoeing is available.

If you are a history buff, then we have many attractions that will excite you.  Historical Village in Panora, Living History Farm in Des Moines, Bridges of Madison County in Winterset, Amana Colonies in Amana, Railwest Museum in Council Bluffs, and many many more.

Fairs are a plenty with the Iowa State Fair, Guthrie County Fair Labor Day Weekend, and all surrounding county fairs in July and August.

Other attractions include Prairie Meadows Race Track and Casino, Blank Park Zoo, Iowa Cubs AAA baseball, Iowa Barnstormers arena football, Menace soccer, Dragons basketball, and Buccaneers Hockey.  There are also three large Shopping Malls and Adventureland Amusement Park nearby.

Des Moines International Airport is an hour and fifteen minutes away and Omaha International Airport is an hour and forty five minutes from us.  Many things to see and do.
